This joint endeavour between VEQ and the Megantic English-speaking Community Development Corporation (MCDC) and funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage invites community members of all ages to submit a photograph that represents what the English-speaking community means to them and to write a short sentence to explain why. An ad-hoc committee will select the photographs that will be displayed at an exhibit held in turn in Thetford Mines and Quebec City.

This project will bring together two neighbouring communities, will provide English-speaking people with creative opportunities to promote their region and their community and will increase the visibility of the English-speaking community through the art of photography.

If you are knowledgeable about photography or have an artistic flair and would like to volunteer for this project, please contact Ayla Foers at 418-683-2366 ext. 222 or ayla.foers@veq.ca.
