This joint endeavour between VEQ and the Megantic English-speaking Community Development Corporation (MCDC) and funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage invited community members of all ages to submit a photograph that represents what the English-speaking community means to them and to write a short sentence to explain why. An ad-hoc committee selected the photographs that were displayed at an exhibit held in turn in Thetford Mines and Quebec City.

This project brought together two neighbouring communities, provided English-speaking people with creative opportunities to promote their region and their community and increased the visibility of the English-speaking community through the art of photography.
