$40,000 approved for a bilingual theatre production for youth by youth!

VEQ is excited to announce the approval of funding from Canadian Heritage’s Enhancement of Official Languages Program – Promotion of Linguistic Duality for Collective Voices: a bilingual youth theatre project creating open dialogue

This project intends to create, produce and present a bilingual theatre piece for youth by youth as a creative medium to facilitate dialogue between Francophone and Anglophone youth by building the project’s layout and content around their experiences with languages.

The program will begin April 2011. For more information or to be part of this initiative please contact Heather McRae by phone at 418-683-2366 ext. 224 or  by e-mail at heather.mcrae@veq.ca.
